DiRT Rally 2.0. Major stuttering issues. Running a 4.9ghz i7-7700k with a 2080ti and I have major stuttering issues. Tried lowering graphics settings and it didn't help. I can be at 165 frames locked and it just stutters every couple of seconds. Im using a Logitech G920 wheel. I've read a couple posts about the wheel causing stuttering issues. DiRT Rally 2.0. Sharpness settings. I would be interested to know what settings you are using in terms of sharpness. TAA is too washed out, without TAA it's too fine-grained for me. I recently got back into dirt rally and it's fantastic. But I'm noticing an issue where the road in the mid distance looks excessively blurry even for VR. It looks almost like an anisotropic filtering bug, or even like poor video compression as you would see on a YouTube video. Ive tweaked settings, turned off TAA and G923. Note: Sliders have opposite logic in WRC 8 and Dirt Rally 2.0. Dirt Rally 2.0 Hint: A high lock percentage will improve straight-line traction although it may induce understeer particularly in low grip conditions (Remember front wheels slip more than rear wheels). A low lock percentage will improve cornering at a cost of straight-line stability. Look for your steering wheel and add ffb_force="5.0" ffb_friction="1.5" to that line. Save the file. Start up Dirt Rally 2.0 and go to the FFB Options! You need to lower "Self Aligning Torque"!! Otherwise your wheel will start to clip!! The "Self Aligning Torque" will override all other forces. H) You can set the transmission options (if you have an H-Shifter and/or clutch for example) from the Game Settings > Assists menu. You're using the handbrake too much. If you're driving correctly you shouldn't even need to pull the handbrake, so when you do pull it you need to make sure it's only for the bare minimum amount of time.
